Symptom: 

• VPN connection keeps disconnecting after 10 minutes 

Technologies Used:

• Linux
• KVpnc
• VPNC 

Caused by: 

• Peer timeout in KVpnc value is too short 

How to Fix this: 

• On the KVpnc window, click Manage Profile 
• Go to Connection specific-> Cisco
• Locate the Peer timeout field and increase it.
• Click OK to save and reconnect.
